Mr. Raman Jain founded Montex as a Fountain pen nib manufacturing and has spearheaded its transformation into a global leader in the Writing instrument and stationery product business.

A pioneer of the Indian writing industry, Mr. Raman Jain introduced India to superior quality writing instruments in 1976, when he laid the foundation of his Nib manufacturing unit. And that was the beginning of a spectacular journey of grit and determination to excel against all odds. Driven by the zeal of an evangelist and guided by his determination and perfectionist attitude, his robust strategies ensured that the company grew from strength to strength without compromising on Quality.

Under his tutelage, Montex has brought many writing instrument innovations to India, primarily transparent pens, co-molded pens and Free Ink System pens.

Today, Montex is looked upon as an epitome of precision, quality and innovation, and Mr. Raman Jain continues to lead the company with the same fervor.

Although known as an astute businessman, Mr. Raman Jain is also a great philanthropist who strongly believes in active contribution for the welfare of society. He has undertaken many social, educational and humanitarian initiatives in his hometown in Rajasthan and has helped to make a positive difference in the lives of the people.

Educational Initiatives

He has built many academic institutions beginning from a Higher Secondary School in his hometown, which imparts quality education. His work is not limited to his hometown; in fact his vision as a philanthropist has been on a national scale. He continues to make donations in the form of stationery, school kits, furniture, uniforms and food to encourage spread of education and ensure an atmosphere conducive for children studying in Government-run schools to learn and grow.

Also, he has initiated a Scholarship program to encourage students to pursue higher education and realise their dream of becoming a doctor, engineer, or whatever they have set their eyes on.

Humanitarian

His humanitarian contributions have been instrumental in setting up a Primary Health Centre in rural India, which addresses the health needs and provides the right medical care for ones that abide within its vicinity. He has also donated an ambulance for emergencies, organized medical camps for free eye check-up as well as blood donation drives from time to time. He has also established a veterinary hospital for the welfare of animals as well.

Whenever rural India has suffered because of natural calamities, be it drought, famines, quakes et al. Mr. Raman Jain has rushed to the aid of the ones affected by such natural disasters.

Religious

A religious man, he has contributed for the construction and maintenance of temples across Western India.
